Jordy Asher is the man behind Boots, co-producer of some the most acclaimed records of the past few years, including Run the Jewels’ RTJ2, Beyoncé’s self-titled tour de force, and FKA twigs recently released M3LL15X EP. While Asher has stepped into the spotlight with his own solo material, such as his WinterSpringSummerFall mixtape and the short film Motorcycle Jesus, he’ll soon make Boots really official with AQUΛRIA, his proper full-length debut.

Due out on November 13th through Columbia Records, the album will see Asher continue to expand his genre-bending palette. “AQUΛRIA is set somewhere in a twilight realm of the Information Era,” reads a press release, “as BOOTS blends masterful musical styles and gritty vocals with a futuristic approach at creating a boundary-crushing defiance to the established musical hivemind.” The LP will feature co-production from Run the Jewels’ own El-P and Carla Azar of Autolux.

As our first taste, Asher has offered up the infectious and pulsating title track, which features special guest Dirty Projector’s Angel Deradoorian on vocals. Listen in below.

Boots will be on tour this fall supporting Run the Jewels.
