Kylesa shares pulverizing new song “Shaping the Southern Sky” — listen

Exhausting Fire is the forthcoming album from sludge metal outfit Kylesa. Due out on October 2nd through Season of Mist, the Ultraviolet follow-up is said to incorporate elements of “psychedelic rock, new wave, space-age twangy Americana, 80s goth and death rock into their pitch-thick DIY punk/metal roots.” Considering the wide range of genres on display, it’s no surprise the band considers it their “most diverse, dynamic, and fully-realized work” of their career.

Already we’ve heard the lead single “Lost and Confused”; today, Kylesa continues to dish out the menacing, psychedelic punches on new offering “Shaping the Southern Sky”. Listen in below.

In support of Exhausting Fire, Kylesa will embark on a US tour later this month.
