As we’ve seen throughout his countless releases, including last month’s Another One LP, Mac DeMarco can turn a goofy grin into a doting stare, a slack pop tune into a sincere love song. It’s no surprise, then, that he can take on Eric Clapton’s lovely version of “Change the World” and yet still sound just as heartfelt. It’s so convincing, it’ll make you want to call the jizz jazzer up and invite him for coffee.

Listen to the woozy ode below.

DeMarco’s cover appears on The Editorial Magazine’s first cassette tape, which also features unreleased tracks from Blood Orange, Doldrums, and TOPS. Order a copy here.
