Dan Auerbach’s The Arcs share extra trippy video for “Outta My Mind” — watch

Plus, The Black Keys member's side-project announces European tour dates


The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach previously said he wanted to “get extra weird” with his new side-project The Arcs, and the band’s video for “Outta My Mind” certainly does that. What is essentially a performance video shot with psychedelic effects and background colors gets an extra dose of strange thanks to the insertion of some random footage.

A racially charged brawl breaks out in Chinatown halfway through the clip, and there’s a stinger that questions Meek Mill’s choice of beat for his Drake diss track flop “Wanna Know”. What hip-hop’s most undercooked beef has to do with the Yours, Dreamily track isn’t really clear, but it’s possible The Arcs “may not live by the same rules as us.”
