For fans of Halloween, there was no better place to be this weekend than at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Legendary composer Danny Elfman reprised his role as Jack Skellington for a live staging of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The performance was spread out over two sets and featured a myriad of special guests, including co-stars Catherine O’Hara, Paul Reubens, and Ken Page. Perhaps the biggest moment, however, came during the second encore, when Elfman was joined by Oingo Boingo bandmate Steve Bartek for the first performance of the song “Dead Man’s Party” in 20 years. Watch fan-shot footage below.

For the performance, the Hollywood Bowl was decorated to look like a real-life version of the film’s Halloween Town.
