Canadian music journalist Nardwuar the Human Serviette suffers stroke

The popular interviewer and radio host is recovering at the Vancouver General Hospital

Canadian music journalist and radio host Nardwuar the Human Serviette reportedly suffered a stroke on Saturday night. Nardwuar’s official Twitter account broke the news, noting that the stroke occurred at The Astoria Pub in Vancouver during Mint Records’ Ridiculously Early Xmas Party. Nardwuar is now “recovering” at the Vancouver General Hospital.

Update – Thursday, December 10th at 11:15 p.m.: The Portable Infinite shares a photo of Nardwuar in the hospital, and it certainly appears that his condition is improving.


Update – Saturday, December 12th at 12:00 p.m. CT: Nardwuar has been discharged from the hospital.
