On April 22nd, ASAP Ferg returns with new album Always Strive and Prosper. Due out through RCA, it marks his second full-length overall. Like its predecessor, 2013’s Trap Lord, the forthcoming record features an impressive list of contributors, such as Missy Elliott, Skrillex, Grimes, Future, ScHoolboy Q, and Clams Casino.
Already we’ve heard his contributions with Future (“New Level”) and Migos (“Trap Anthem”). Today, ASAP Ferg has rolled out another joint track, the ScHoolboy Q-aided “Let It Bang”. Over sonorous, rolling bass, the ASAP Mob member and Top Dawg affiliate rhyme about what it’s like to live a life of struggle.
