David Gilmour appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night, marking his return to the late-night stage for the first time in 10 years. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer supported his new solo album, Rattle That Lock, with a performance of its title track. He also waxed nostalgia with a twangy acoustic rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”. Replay both performances below.
Gilmour will be on tour for the next few months in continued support of the LP (his first in nearly a decade), including a historic return to Pompeii 45 years after Pink Floyd’s legendary concert film.
