Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been out on the road celebrating the 35th anniversary of The River with a US tour featuring full performances of the album. In addition to cuts off that classic LP, Springsteen has gifted audiences with a number of surprise treats, including a cover of the Eagles’ “Take It Easy” in honor of the late Glenn Frey, a cover of “Rebel Rebel” as a tribute to David Bowie, and a cute on-stage dance party with a 91-year-old grandmother.

Last night in Seattle, Springsteen stunned the crowd by bringing out special guest and local hero Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Together, the two rock titans — who were literally glowing while in each other’s presence — teamed up to perform Born in the USA track “Bobby Jean”.
