Flying Lotus has gotten quite a bit of mileage out of You’re Dead!, his fifth studio album released back in 2014. Last year, he put out a deluxe edition of the LP, a massive 39-track collection boasting bonus cuts and instrumental outtakes galore.
Now, the experimental producer has let loose three previously unheard tracks that appear to have originated from those same You’re Dead! sessions. Two of the songs, “Haleys Line//thundercat” and “NO Feeer Thunnderrrcatt2010”, as you might have guessed, feature frequent FlyLo collaborator and jazz fusion maestro Thundercat. The third, dubbed “TDC – Alt Experiment”, is a different take on You’re Dead! selection “Turkey Dog Coma”.
