Kendrick Lamar pops up on two remixes of Funkadelic’s “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You”, last year’s Louie Vega rework and this past February’s “We Ain’t Neva Gonna Stop” edit, which also featured guest verses from Ice Cube. Today, the music video for the latter version has been revealed and, again, the Compton MC plays a prominent role.
Directed by Video God, the intergalactic-themed clip sees King Kendrick manning a spaceship and rhyming from atop a well-deserved throne. Ice Cube also makes a cameo, assisting Funkadelic’s George Clinton in throwing a flashy soirée.
