In the history of rock ‘n’ roll, there are plenty of stories about musicians being such perfectionists that they’ll keep bands in the studio for hours on end just to perfect a single song. Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats play up this recording trope in their new video “I Need Never Get Old”.
Though it took the band just two hours to actually record the song, the video imagines what it would’ve been like if Rateliff was more like Springsteen in the studio, forcing his band to redo sections over and over again. Needless to say, the title of the song becomes ironic by the end of the video.

“I Need Never Get Old” comes from Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats’ self-titled debut. In support, the band has announced an extensive world tour stretching from March to November.
