Rock 'n' roll royalty come out to see a live scoring of Ben Hur performed by The Police's Stewart Copeland.

The Police’s Stewart Copeland performed a live score of Frank Niblo’s 1925 silent film Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ at the Valley Performing Arts Center in Nothridge, California this week. As Alternative Nation points out, a number of Copeland’s rock ‘n’ roll brethren came out in support, leading to the incredible photos you see below.

Among those in attendance: Red Hot Chili PeppersChad Smith (or maybe Will Ferrell? I can’t really tell), Foo FightersTaylor Hawkins, Tool’s Danny Carey, U2’s The Edge, and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian.
