The Police’s Stewart Copeland performed a live score of Frank Niblo’s 1925 silent film Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ at the Valley Performing Arts Center in Nothridge, California this week. As Alternative Nation points out, a number of Copeland’s rock ‘n’ roll brethren came out in support, leading to the incredible photos you see below.
Among those in attendance: Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith (or maybe Will Ferrell? I can’t really tell), Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Tool’s Danny Carey, U2’s The Edge, and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian.
Oh, to be a fly on that wall.
