Alessia Cara made a return appearance on Ellen yesterday, quite an accomplishment for a 19-year-old songwriter with just one album to her name. Proving that she’s more than just a one-hit-wonder, the Canadian pop singer performed her latest single “Wild Things”. Highlighting the percussive nature of the track, Cara’s backing band consisted primarily of a large drum kit played by three different percussionists. The stage was decked out with even more drum gear, with cymbals lining the entire back wall.
