While guest-heavy sets are commonplace at Coachella, breakthrough artist Anderson .Paak really brought the firepower last night, enlisting the help of Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar.
The N.W.A. legend — while donning a t-shirt dedicated to Prince — took the stage to perform a trio of songs in “California Love,” “Still D.R.E.”, and “The Next Episode”. Meanwhile, the Compton MC got the crowd going by unfurling good kid, m.A.A.d city standout “Backseat Freestyle”.

Additionally, Paak has shared a behind-the-scenes video of how the Coachella weekend two collaborations came together.
Paak owes quite a bit of his recent success to Dre; the veteran rapper-proudcer brought Paak on to contribute to last year’s Compton album.
King Kendrick also showed some love to another N.W.A. member this past weekend, as he joined Ice Cube to perform the anthemic “Alright”.
