Animal Collective have broken off a pair of new songs, “Gnip Gnop” and “Hounds Of Bairro”. Leftover cuts from the recording sessions for their latest studio album, Painting With, they were previously only available on 7-inch.
“Gnip Gnop” is a fun and whimsical whirlwind of a track, not unlike much of Painting With. “Hounds of Bairro”, meanwhile, is built atop a tighter, more driving rhythm.
