Axl Rose gave his first interview since reuniting with Guns N’ Roses bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan. Seemingly in a good mood following two successful headlining sets at Coachella, Axl answered a series of questions posed by the paparazzi … as he rode around Los Angeles International Airport on a scooter.

The Guns N’ Roses frontman discussed his broken foot, which has confined him to Dave Grohl’s throne for the band’s initial reunion shows. He said he does not feel restricted by the injury and added that he will only have to wear his cast for a “couple more weeks.” Still, hopefully he still rides the scooter even after his leg is recovered.

Discussing Coachella, Axl said, “The shows went really good, the crowd was amazing. The first show was good, the second show was more fun … The crowd was even more responsive.”

Axl also discussed Prince’s death, calling it a “very sad thing, “big Prince fan.” Guns N’ Roses dedicated their Coachella weekend two set to the Purple One.

He even laughed — or, at least said “ha!” — when asked what he was going to do if he enjoyed performing more with AC/DC than Guns N’ Roses. He also revealed that his favorite AC/DC song is “Touch Too Much”, so expect to hear him sing that once he joins up with the classic rockers in Europe next month.
