The last time Bob Mould played The Late Show, in early 2015, he nearly literally brought the house down. While his follow-up appearance last night didn’t cause any structural damage to the Ed Sullivan Theater, the Hüsker Dü legend still pulled off a monster performance, knocking out “The End of Things” with toughened vocals, high-octane energy, and wild, flashing lights galore.
“The End of Things” is taken from Mould’s latest solo effort, Patch the Sky.
