Drake has set a release date for his new album Views From the 6. As announced tonight during the latest episode of OVO Sound Radio, the album will see release on April 29th. Update: Watch a teaser trailer below.
Views From the 6 marks Drake’s fourth studio album to date. While it technically serves as the follow-up to 2013’s Nothing Was the Same, last year saw the release of two projects from the Toronto rapper: the mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and his collaborative album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive.
Views From the 6 is preceded by three singles: “Summer Sixteen”, “Pop Style” featuring Kanye West and Jay Z, and “One Dance” featuring WizKid.
Update: Drake has released a new version of “Pop Style” featuring a new verse from Drake. However, neither Kanye nor Jay Z are present.
