Grimes just delivered one of the best sets at Coachella this past weekend, but already she’s returned to the road and gotten back to the daily grind. In particular, she appeared on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show this afternoon for a short but sweet in-studio session.

Accompanied by former tour mate HANA, Claire Boucher performed Art Angels standouts “Flesh Without Blood” and “REALiTi”. The 30-minute set also saw Boucher put her own heavenly spin on the Franz Schubert classic “Ave Maria”, a song which she’s done live in the past and considers one of her all-time favorites.

Elsewhere during her visit, she talked to Annie about her songwriting approach, what it was like co-directing her fantastical “Kill V. Maim” clip, and more. Boucher also mentioned that she’s been hard at work on two more music videos.

Stream the entire session below.

In addition to hitting up Coachella for weekend two, Grimes will be touring across North America and Europe for the next few months; find her full itinerary here.
