Los Angeles singer-songwriter Hanni El Khatib returns today with a brand new song in “Gonna Die Alone”. While his recent collaborations with Freddie Gibbs (“Satin Black”) and GZA and Tom Morello (“The Mexican”) suggested he’d be going the way of hip-hop, his latest offering sees him returning to his roots and serving up a slice of fuzzy garage rock.
“I’m gonna die alone, really alone,” he confesses in a fatalistic tone. “The ones that hate me don’t kill me first, the ones that love me gonna harm me worse.”

El Khatib’s last full-length was 2015’s Moonlight.
