Last year, Hudson Mohawke spun a mix for Beats 1, an hour-long playlist which included a never-before-heard TNGHT “edit” of Boards of Canada’s “Amo Bishop Roden”. Today, the Scottish producer, who’s one half of the now-defunct trap duo, is back with a reworking of his own.
While there isn’t a stark difference between the two versions, HudMo’s is about two minutes longer and packs a slightly grittier grind. Check it out below.
“Amo Bishop Roden” is off Boards of Canada’s 2000 EP, In A Beautiful Place Out in the Country.
Mohawke will tour the US and Europe for the next few months, hitting up festivals like Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Mysteryland along the way.
