Jane’s Addiction will celebrate two anniversaries at once with the newly announced Sterling Spoon Anniversary Tour. For one, the trek will commemorate the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough sophomore record, Ritual de lo Habitual. For two, it will also be celebrating 25 years since the first-ever Lollapalooza.
The six-date tour will move from New York towards Chicago, where Jane’s Addiction will perform on the Lollapalooza main stage. Performances promise to cull from the band’s entire catalog, with “a special nod to Ritual de lo Habitual within each show’s set list,” according to a press release. Next month, they’ll actually perform the entire record in full at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival.
What’s more, Jane’s Addiction will be joined by fellow alt legends Dinosaur Jr. and Living Colour during select dates. See the band’s full itinerary, which includes a show at the new Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn, below.
