Mike Dean, renowned producer to hip-hop’s finest, has shared a new song this week. Titled “Grande Faucon”, it was recorded over the course of 48 hours at the Moog Music Factory.
The master behind the boards was “surrounded by analog synthesizers and immersed in an environment of experimentation.” Specifically, Dean utilized 6x Mother-32 synthesizers and a Voyager XL as his master controller.
A wizard when it comes to synths and keyboards, Dean’s blitzing, ominous instrumental sounds like it could easily find a home with any number of his clients, especially one Kanye West. Even Kid Cudi, whose Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager featured production by Dean, offered up his seal of approval.
