Mike Sawers’ forthcoming sci-fi mockumentary No Men Beyond This Point offers a funny, tongue-in-cheek look at a world where the male population is receding and the female populace is ever fertile. All over the world, females are having virginal births that result in more girls to grow up and believe that men should die off.
It’s a clever premise that will likely be torn to shreds by the Internet, who traditionally can’t handle anything remotely tied to gender without resorting to vitriolic rage and predictable stereotypes. But hey, it’s Monday and you gotta stay positive, so take a look at the trailer above and see if you can just sit back and laugh.
There’s no release date yet, but the film will be distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
