Lost in all of the sadness over Prince’s death is the indisputable fact that he was the living, breathing embodiment of sex and should be celebrated as such. While some of us may be too devastated to even consider indulging in carnal pleasures today, that doesn’t seem to be a problem for the folks who run leading porn site Pornhub (link NSFW).
The site has modified its logo in honor of the Purple One, changing the typical “P” into a familiar symbol that might as well stand for “sex” anyway.
Prince isn’t the first star to be honored with the ol’ porn-site logo treatment, but he’s certainly the most deserving. Though some might find the new logo in poor taste, it seems the most fitting way to remember a man who gave us hits such as “I Wanna Be Your Lover”, “Do Me, Baby”, and “Breakfast Can Wait”.
It’s not easy finding humor on a day like today — much less getting worked up enough to indulge in some old-fashioned internet porn — but it’s probably what Prince would have wanted. In any case, this is just the latest (and perhaps the most creative) in a string of tributes to the Purple One. Others have been pouring in from around the world since the first reports of his death arrived this morning.
