The four surviving members of N.W.A. performed together for the first time in 27 years during Ice Cube’s Coachella set on Saturday evening. MC Ren and DJ Yella joined Cube for “Straight Outta Compton” before bringing out Dr. Dre for “Still D.R.E.” and “California Love”.
Additionally, Kendrick Lamar joined Ice Cube to perform “Alright”.
Earlier this month, N.W.A. were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but the group chose not to perform during the ceremony. Dr. Dre was also a no show for Ice Cube’s weekend one Coachella set, though both MC Ren and DJ Yella did make appearances.
