Disney has unveiled the first look at its first Star Wars anthology film. Set between Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope, Rogue One stars Felicity Jones as a rebel fighter who is part of an operation to steal plans for the Death Star, a feat that would eventually lead to its destruction by Rebel pilot Luke Skywalker.
Along with Jones, the film stars Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Neil Breen, and Alan Tudyk. Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) serves as director.
Look for it in theaters beginning December 16th, 2016.
