Things are happening quickly for Canada’s Twin River, who released their debut LP, Should the Light Go Out, in 2015 and are already prepping the follow-up. The dream pop band’s sophomore album is entitled Passing Shade and will be released June 17th via Light Organ Records.

This counted as exciting news as soon as we heard “Antony”, the album’s jangly first single. But now that Twin River has released another song off Passing Shade, their days of being regarded as Canada’s Best-Kept Secret are officially numbered. “Settle Down” is perhaps the most shimmering track the band has ever produced, with singer/guitarist Courtney Ewan’s voice propped up by a high single-note riff and a percussive, pummelling chord progression.

Listen in to “Settle Down” below, and scroll down to check out Passing Shade’s tracklist and album artwork.
