Yeah Yeah Yeahs reunited for their first live performance since November 2013 at a party celebrating legendary music photographer Mick Rock.
According to Rolling Stone, Karen O fronted an all-star house band that included Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmantes Nick Zinner and Brian Chase along with TV on the Radio bassist Jaleel Bunton and keyboardist Money Mark. The supergroup performed covers of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream”, Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”, and Ramones’ “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker”. Watch fan-shot footage below.
The evening also saw appearances from Sky Ferreira, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, and Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hutz.
