Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters doesn’t hit theaters for six weeks, but the remake already has a No. 1 fan: Dan Aykroyd.
Last night, the one and only Dr. Ray Stantz logged on to WhoSay to offer his two cents on the already-polarizing remake, words that should no doubt create a critical tidal wave of biblical proportions. Here’s what the Crystal Skull proprietor had to say…
“As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I’m paying to see that and bringing all my friends!”
It should be noted that Aykroyd not only cameos in the film — see here — but also serves as executive producer in addition to receiving a writing credit. He’s also gone on record detailing extraterrestrial’s thoughts on 9/11 and once agreed to My Girl 2.
Don’t forget: Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters slimes audiences July 15th. Go green or go home, right?
