Since the recent release of Frightened Rabbit’s Painting of a Panic Attack, the Scottish rockers have kept busy with tour dates and, as they say, appearances on the “telly.”

Frightened Rabbit’s first late-night appearance in support of the record occurred back in March when they performed “Get Out”, the second single off the album. Last night on the Late Late Show with James Corden, they performed the same song, but with a greater sense of comfort and agony.

The chorus sees frontman Scott Hutchison demanding a love he can’t shake off to, “Get out of my heart,” though the demand is instantly met with the realization that, “She won’t, she won’t.” The chorus is intensified by flashing stage lights and rapidly changing camera angles that keep pace with the backbeat. The result is a resounding performance that’s nearly as hard to shake.
