Next month brings the release of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, The Lonely Island’s mockumentary-style spoofing of fluffy music documentaries like Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never and Katy Perry’s Part of Me. In the film, Andy Samberg plays Conner4real, a washed-up pop star who is forced to reunite his former boy band.
Ahead of the film’s June 3rd release, The Lonely Island returned to their ol’ stomping grounds at Rockefeller Center to debut a new track from the film. “Finest Girl (Bin Laden Song)” hears Conner4real serenading his lady with the tale of Seal Team Six’s assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Of course, things get hot and steamy. Check out the video below, and look out for cameos from Uncle Sam, President Barack Obama, and Bin Laden himself.
