Adele took the stage in Pilton, UK on Saturday to headline Glastonbury Music Festival.

The UK songstress long expressed apprehension playing large scale music festivals, telling the BBC in 2011, “The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me.” However, in the five years since that interview she’s apparently had a change of heart, and last night she made up for lost time with a rousing 15-song performance.

Adele opened her set with “Hello”, reworking the lyrics to sing, “I’ve been Glastonbury dreaming.” Other notable moments included the live debut of “River Lea” and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love”. She even brought a 10-year-old girl up on stage to take a selfie.

Adele’s self-deprecating sense of humor was also on full display throughout the set, as NME notes. After messing up lyrics to a song, she said, “Shit I did that wrong. Perfect time to fuck up a song, headlining at Glastonbury.” She revealed that the BBC cautioned her against using foul language, saying, “Do you know how rock and roll I am? Not very, but the BBC had to give a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. I bet Muse didn’t get that.” She also took shots at her ex-boyfriend, who “lives with your mum.”

“Glastonbury means the world to me, I’m not even lying,” Adele said mid-way through her set. “I’ve always wanted to do this my whole life but I’ve been too scared.” Later, she told the audience, “I have never been so moved by anything in my life… This is, by far, the best moment of my life so far.”
