Beck teases new single “Wow”, due out tomorrow

"The song is about the moments in life that leave you in awe of the world."

Something about entering into the season of summer seems to creatively stir Beck. Last June, he issued his earworm of a summer anthem, “Dreams”. Now, he’s gearing up to drop a new single called “Wow”. It’s set for release tomorrow, but Beck shared two a boatload of teasers clips via Instagram today.

Along with bits and pieces of the new single, the snippets point to a number of number of folks whom Beck personally enlisted for visual assistance. “Excited to share that I had the opportunity to work with @capitolrecords and @beck on the release of his newest song “WOW”!” reads one of the postings, done by underwater photographer/videographer Alicia Ward.

“The song is about the moments in life that leave you in awe of the world and I was glad to contribute this clip of me, taken by my husband @_jimward_, watching in amazement as an akule ball danced fluidly around me.”

Other creatives who helped Beck include illustrator Nathan Jurevicius, ceramic craftsman Eric Landon, and graphic designer Andrew Kuttler.

Additionally, rapper OG Maco, who helped produce the track who is rumored to have worked with Beck, has let loose a few tidbits about what may be coming down the line from the singer-songwriter. Towards the end of March, the rapper took to Twitter to reveal the two had not only recorded a single together, but an entire album. He said the two made an amazing record and wrote, “Think we might let you all hear it sooner than later.”

But how soon is soon? One can only wonder, for now.

Further bolstering the rumors of a collaborative Beck and OG Maco project is a supposed leaked thank you email (posted on Reddit) in which Beck states his appreciation and approval of the single “Wow”. Fans will have to wait until tomorrow at noon ET to share praises of their own.
