In addition to a surprise performance from Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar, tonight’s BET Awards featured several tributes to Prince.

The Roots, Erykah Badu, and Bilal joined forces for “The Ballad of Dorothy Parker” and “The Beautiful Ones”; Stevie Wonder and Tori Kelly performed “Take Me With U”; Jennifer Hudson covered “Purple Rain”; and Janelle Monáe delivered a jaw-dropping medley of “Delirious”, “Kiss”, “Pop Life”, and “I Would Die 4 U”. Monáe’s performance was also notable for her attire, as she wore all-white recreations of Prince’s most iconic outfits, including the assless chaps famously worn at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards.

Appropriately, Prince’s longtime collaborator and muse Sheila E. closed out the evening, performing “Housequake” “Erotic City”, “U Got The Look”, “A Love Bizarre”, and “The Glamorous Life”.

Replay the various tributes below.

Stevie Wonder was also part of the Billboard Music Awards’ tribute to Prince, teaming with Madonna for a duet of “Purple Rain”. In response, BET wrote on Twitter, “Yeah, we saw that. Don’t Worry. We Got You.”
