Young the Giant’s forthcoming release, Home of the Strange, boasts an appropriate title as it sees the band exploring a softer side of rock, as best heard on the latest single from the album “Titus Was Born”.
The song sees the band laying off heavy instrumental builds, which allows for vocalist Sameer Gadhia to deliver delicate and higher-ranging notes than typically heard from the California outfit. As for the accompanying video, it oddly resembles pin art, though in a pixelated and more digitized form, with Gadhia’s face occasionally making an appearance. The release of the video marks the first visual the band has shared off the upcoming record, though the song was preceded by singles “Amerika” and “Something to Believe In” — both which surge with a more familiar energy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sL1f9Q25sM
