Joe Perry collapsed backstage during a concert in Coney Island on Sunday and was rushed to a nearby hospital, according to Rolling Stone.
Perry, a founding member of Aerosmith, was performing with his supergroup The Hollywood Vampires. Fan-shot video (above) shows Perry stumbling off stage mid-way through a song. Once backstage, Perry lost consciousness and collapsed. He was revived by EMS and taken to a Brooklyn hospital.
According bandmate Alice Cooper, Perry was feeling ill prior to the show, though did not elaborate the exact nature of his ailment. “He is stable right now, with family & is under the best care,” Perry tweeted.
The Hollywood Vampires, which also count Johnny Depp as a member, are next due to play in Kettering, Ohio on Tuesday.
