Major Lazer, Justin Bieber, and MØ dive head first into “Cold Water” — listen

Like an incubator of pop hits, Major Lazer have teamed up with Justin Bieber and MØ this week for a brand new single called “Cold Water”.

“Everybody gets high sometimes, you know/ What else can we do when we’re feeling low?” Bieber can be heard crooning early on. The pop star is backed by breezy, island-flavored production, not unlike that of Jack Ü’s Bieber-aided “Where Are Ü Now” and Major Lazer’s MØ-featuring smash “Lean On”. As if the track doesn’t already have enough star power, it appears Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco (Rihanna, Jessie Ware) both share co-writing credits.
