When you create a TV series about life in the music business, you better be able to snag some pretty top-notch artists to contribute to the soundtrack. Vinyl did it, Empire did it, and you better be damn sure Cameron Crowe’s Showtime series Roadies is doing it. The latest sample off the show’s upcoming soundtrack comes from Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket, who deliver “an uproarious, unbridled and undeniable brand new anthem” in the form of “The First Time”. “The First Time” is the second MMJ song to be released in recent days. The band also shared their anti-violence, pro-peace protest song “Magic Bullet” earlier in the week.
