Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto, and an all-star cast including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Peter Sarsgaard have joined forces for a new remake of The Magnificent Seven. Ahead of the film’s September 23rd release, Sony/MGM have revealed the first full-length trailer. Watch it above.
Based on the 1960 John Sturges film of the same name, that was in turn a western remake of Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 classic Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven also stars Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Martin Sensmeier. The story follows seven gun men in the old west who come together to help a poor village against savage thieves.
