Next summer, Christopher Nolan will turn the pages on history with his World War II epic, Dunkirk.

Based on the real-life 1940 British rescue mission, which saw 800 boats snag 335,000 soldiers from the clutches of the Germans, the film stars Fionn Whitehead, Jack Lowden, and Aneurin Barnard alongside supporting roles by Tom HardyMark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, and One Direction’s Harry Styles in his feature film debut.

The film was shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film stock. Nolan reconditioned actual warships for the shoot, including the French Navy destroyer Maillé-Brézé, and reportedly spent $5 million on a vintage aircraft which he destroyed for the film.

In anticipation, Warner Bros. has deployed a new teaser trailer attached to reels of Suicide Squad, and you can view it above. The film itself will hit theaters in the not-too-distant-future on July 21st, 2017.
