Okay, Johnny Jewel. Frank Ocean got his shit together and dropped two albums last weekend. What say you finally release Dear Tommy and get on with it, eh? We could use another Chromatics tour and we’ve loved everything we’ve heard so far.
Last night, the songwriter, producer, and label head shared the title track off the long-awaited album. How long? Well, considering I wasn’t even engaged yet when 2012’s Kill For Love hit stores and I’ve been married two years now … that long.
To help embellish the song’s sultry tranquility, they’ve paired it with a new music video, featuring plenty of neon, splattered blood, shattered glass, and mirrors. The ever-ravishing Ruth Radelet looks creepy as she stares and stares and stares.
Speaking of staring, take a gander below at the tracklist, which includes previously released gems “Cherry”, “Just Like You”, “I Can Never Be Myself When You’re Around”, “In Films”, and “Shadow”. Odds are this thing will come out soon. ::cue laughter::
