On August 19th, Faith No More will reissue their 1985 debut, We Care A Lot, on vinyl for the first time in 20 years. But honestly, that’s probably the least exciting thing the band is doing this week, they’ve just announced a pair of reunion shows to celebrate the release with original singer Chuck Mosley.
Billed as Chuck Mosley & Friends, the shows will take place August 18th San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall and August 20th at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. These concert won’t be the first time they’ve all played together in recent years, having previously reunited for shows in 2010 and 2015. Watch an announcement video for the special performances above. Tickets to SF show are available here, and the LA show here.
Mosley sang on We Care A Lot and 1987’s Introduce Yourself before his departure in 1988. Mike Patton stepped in and has led the band for the last 28 years.
We Care A Lot (Deluxe Band Edition) is available for pre-order on digital, CD, and vinyl. Check out footage from the reissue of the band performing “The Jungle” in 1986 below.
