R&B crooner Frank Ocean will release his long-awaited new album, Boys Don’t Cry, this Friday (August 5th), according to the New York Times.

The album will be available exclusively through Apple Music for the first two weeks before receiving a wide release. It will be accompanied by a “major video and a printed publication called Boys Don’t Cry that will be distributed at Apple stores,” the Times adds.

Boys Don’t Cry serves as the follow-up to Ocean’s 2012 major label debut, channel ORANGE. Consequence of Sound pegged the album as the best release of that year. It also earned Ocean several Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Record of the Year (for “Thinkin Bout You”), and Best Urban Contemporary Album, the latter of which he won.

Earlier today, Ocean launched a mysterious live stream on boysdontcry.co.
