Isaiah Rashad unveils new song “Free Lunch” and video — watch

Top Dawg Entertainment’s Isaiah Rashad made a guest appearance on one of last week’s best songs, “Everybody Shut Up” by Jesse Boykins III. Rashad returns today, only this time he wants the limelight all to himself on new offering “Free Lunch”.

Here, the Kendrick Lamar affiliate rhymes about meal tickets and chicken grease over a soulful arrangement provided by producer Cam O’Bi. Check it out above via its corresponding music video, which sees Rashad kicking it in a local laundromat.

As noted in the visual, as well as in a tweet from Top Dawg CEO Anthony Tiffith, something more from Rashad — possibly the follow-up to 2014’s Cilvia Demo — is expected to be announced on September 2nd. Stay tuned.
