Frank Ocean fans worldwide saw Friday, the supposed release date for new album Boys Don’t Cry, come and go without a peep from the reclusive R&B singer. While not much can quell their frustrations, CoSigned synthpop phenom MØ is doing her part to fill the Frank Ocean void, as NME points out.
In a live studio session for 4Music’s “Box Upfront with got2b” series, the Danish-born artist reimagines the channel ORANGE standout “Lost” as a slinky jam with island sway. Musically, it’s similar to Major Lazer’s 2015 cover, on which MØ also appears.
