Earlier this summer, Will Butler put out his first solo live album, Friday Night. The 13-song collection was recorded at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall venue last year and features selections from solo debut Policy, a pair of cuts from his project with The Guardian, and five all-new songs. One of those, the title track, has been given the video treatment today.

The clip stars the Arcade Fire member’s family both in the present and the future. It was directed by Jo Firestone, a Brooklyn comedian who does the introduction and “solo” on the album version of “Friday Night”. Check it out above.
