Devon Welsh lets loose new song “Go Go” — listen

Since Majical Cloudz broke up earlier this year, Devon Welsh hasn’t wasted any time jump-starting his solo career. In the last few months alone, the songwriter has put out an album called Indigo, Streams, Lash, unearthed an eight-track project dubbed Down the Mountain, and even paid tribute to the late Suicide frontman Alan Vega.

Welsh returns this week with another offering in the form of the one-off “Go Go”. It’s a low-key and spacey synthpop arrangement that wouldn’t have felt out of place on Majical Cloudz’s 2015 album, Are You Alone? — or any of their other previous releases, frankly.
