My Bloody Valentine’s back catalog will soon return to on vinyl.
According to Creation Records, MBV mastermind Kevin Shields has been holed up at Abbey Road Studios, cutting and remastering the original analog recordings.
The band reissued 1988’s Isn’t Anything and 1991’s Loveless on CD and digital formats in the lead up to 2013’s comeback LP, m b v. However, as FACT points out, this marks the first time the remastered records will be available in a vinyl format.
Engineer Sean Magee, who is working with Shields on the reissues, posted the following photos to Twitter:
